I had the pleasure of photographing this extended family up at the lake recently. Teddy is the apple of everyone’s eye so he was the star of the show. Thankfully he was full of smiles and we were able to do some funny things to get his reactions – he is a cutie! We did a number of different combinations as everyone wanted some time with Teddy!
I first photographed Teddy when he was just a few days old…..he’s grown a bit since then!
Thanks for having me over!!
I’m hoping to get back on the blogging wagon this week – we’ve been happily and busily settling into our new home so with everything else going on blogging has definitely gotten the short end of the stick! Now that all the pictures are hung I’ll soon take some photos of the house and share them with you. But for now a relatively quick posting today of images that make me so happy.
The night before we closed on our house we walked down to my Mom’s beach with the doggies for a sunset swim. We built a fire so we could come back later with a bottle of champagne to celebrate and it was just the most perfect evening – beautiful sunset and evening glory light. It felt like a true welcome to Vermont!
This was a very very special wedding for me – Amy and I went to high school together and were part of a group of girls called the “fab five.” We haven’t all always stayed in the best of touch but I was so honored that Amy asked me to be there especially since it was such a teeny wedding. All the details of the day were expertly handled by KatiLady Weddings and the day went off without a hitch. Enjoy the photos of this very happy day. Jeff’s parents are arriving any minute so I’m going to let the photos do the talking! Missy & Amy – congratulations and much love!! xxoo

Thanks for the great feature, Maggie!
On July 4th I flew down to St. John to celebrate with Missy & Amy and thirty close friends. Amy and I went to high school together so that combined with the destination nature combined with the small guest list made it unlike any other wedding I photographed. From the time I arrived on the island I was welcomed with open arms and made to feel like one of the gang. On Thursday we all headed to the beach to snorkel and hang out and that afternoon we gathered at Amorosa villa for an informal rehearsal.
The view and setting were incredible
And these two little ones (Missy & Amy’s nieces) charmed everyone!
Missy’s sister, niece and nephew watched with amusement as the little ones made their way down the aisle
Missy & Amy are so easy around each other and are always laughing
Practicing for their dance
Amy’s sister Maggie and little Alice!
I was honored to be the only non family member invited to the rehearsal dinner – we had a great time and ate a TON!
Stay tuned for the wedding photos!
