Steve & Hayley’s Stonover Farm Wedding is being featured on Sweet Violet Bride!
Shaila and Otis’ Basin Harbor Wedding was filled to the brim with color and tradition – such a pleasure to photograph. After a cloudy morning the sun burst through and shone for the whole day – spectacular. They were married under Basin Harbor’s newly landscaped wedding arch with views of Lake Champlain and decided to do a first look which is always a great option. Since it was my first Indian wedding it was fun to learn more about the various traditions that punctuated the day – they were all filled with much meaning and love of family. Enjoy the photos!
Summertime and all the time means doggies snuggling on the couch – after being away from them in Maine last week it is good to be home!!
I spent a full glorious week at the lake for July 4th which was a slice of heaven. My in-laws are there and then we also had friends up so it was a full house but I managed to steal a number of quiet moments for myself and spent a lot of time reading! Our friends Giles & Cathy adopted Penny a week before so she was only ten weeks old….not Sage’s idea of a fun playmate! Everyone got along well enough though and I have a feeling once Penny is a little bigger Sage will have a blast playing with her – for now she’s a bit of a pest!
On Saturday night the club had their annual fireworks display. Although I was happy with the photos I got two years ago I decided to try for a different perspective and some longer exposures. I kayaked out to a neighbor’s float and set up my tripod. I felt like I was just getting the hang of my settings when the display ended….guess I’ll have to wait until next year!
I was thrilled to see that our Ferry Watch Inspiration Photos were recently featured on one of my favorite wedding blogs Rustic Wedding Chic.
