I’ve had a personal Instagram account for a few years now but have recently been convinced that maybe it would be a good idea to create a business one. Enter Orchard Cove Photography (my personal one is now amanda.herzberger). I love using this app – following fellow business owners on my business page and lots of quilting inspiration on my personal account. If you’re not familiar with the app go check it out – it’s such a fun way to stay connected with people and to me feels a bit more personal than Facebook (even though they own it!). And look to your right and check out my handy new Instagram grid – pretty fancy!

Mary & Abe chose a black leather 10×10 Queensberry matted album to show off the images from their backyard wedding – it was stunning!
Books take so long in production that it’s always a surprise when they finally arrive – I had completely forgotten about this one! Jackie & Jono’s Basin Harbor club wedding is a standout in my many years of weddings. Words that come to mind are beautiful, fun, cold, joyful, muddy, festive and happy. Their beautiful fall wedding site overlooking the harbor at Basin Harbor was so picturesque and I love how it was displayed as a two page spread. One of the most memorably moments was when a double rainbow appeared over the lake right as Jackie came down the aisle.
Kevin & Alyson share their favorite photos from their Basin Harbor Wedding……
I have two! I love the one of Kevin and me hugging after the ceremony and first kiss; it looks so natural and not contrived at all with us framed by the birch arbor and a view of the lake in the background. I also love a candid Amanda caught of us walking into the tent hand-in-hand at the reception; we were happily walking back into the tent after mingling with guests.
Kevin loves the special moment that was caught of he and his Mom in the tent after everyone’s speeches. It was a very natural hug and captures this stealth embrace. Without Kevin’s Dad present, Kevin got very emotional at his Mom’s speech and it is a very touching moment between mother and son.
