A little bit of everything in August!

Each month I make a miscellaneous folder of photos on my computer that don’t fit in any category or don’t deserve their own folder.

This month I upgraded my phone to the new I-Phone and under the right conditions (outside in fairly bright light) I am amazed at the photo quality – I haven’t owned a point and shoot for a few years but it’s nice to know that now I really don’t need one!
Below are a mish mash of “real” photos i.e. taken with my professional cameras and I-Phone photos….enjoy!

Snuggling doggies are always cute 🙂

Strider continues to love his big ball 🙂

Hanging out by the lake

The quality isn’t terrific but it was too cute not to post – Strider, Sage, and their friend Luke patiently waiting for Steve to give them a treat 🙂

I had one weekend off in August and we spent it at the lake (my in-laws were in town). On Saturday night Jeff and I went kayaking at sunset and it was just divine – totally my happy place 🙂

My cutie-patootie Hubby 🙂

Later that night Jeff snuggled on the porch with Strider 🙂

At the end of August we finally made it to the annual West Hartford Pooch Plunge. Every August on the final day before they close the pool for the winter they allow dogs to take it over and it is a total free for all.

Sage was a bit overwhelmed at first – I don’t think she had EVER seen that many dogs in one place! For the most part they were pretty well behaved but with so many yellow labs it was hard to keep track of my two!

Nice drool pooch 🙂

Are you my sister?

Little Ellie snoozed through the whole event 🙂

Jen and Drew brought their two poochies to the event

One last I-Phone photo – the dogs sit on the threshold of the kitchen every night while we may dinner – so so cute 🙂
