Andy & Emmy’s 11/11/11 wedding marked the end of my season. I’ve known Emmy since kindergarden so it was pretty cool to come full circle and marry Andy. We began the day at her Mother’s apartment where of course everyone was Fawning over Fawn 🙂

Loved this childhood picture of Emmy (she was just a little older when I first met her but still had spunk and those adorable freckles) juxtaposed with her wedding gown

Andy’s Grandmother’s charm bracelet which Emmy & Andy have added to in the last year – so much history and so many new memories!

Time to go!

As Emmy got ready to step into the car to head over to the church her veil rose into the air and then flew straight off her head and into the whizzing traffic – yikes! Thankfully it was not run over and a doorman speedily retrieved it. Whew! Definitely one of those memorably moments that you can laugh about later 🙂

Since the sun was setting before their ceremony began we met up early to do a first look (hooray!)

Yes it was still windy but thankfully the veil stayed put for the rest of the night 🙂

Despite the chilly temps everyone was a good sport and we worked quickly!

We walked the one block over to the church where they were to be married

One of my favorites – the bagpiper was a nod to family heritage

Happy 🙂

Mr. & Mrs.!

The bagpiper and sparklers greeted the newlyweds 🙂

The mansion is gorgeous – can you believe this room is normally a dance studio for elementary school students?

Very funny toasts

Fun with suspenders 🙂

And a bouquet toss to end the evening

Love and congratulations to you both!!
