I met up with Anne and her family last week at their home outside of Boston. Anne’s Aunt Amy (who I went to high school with!) gifted the family a session for Anne’s first birthday which I always think is such a special gift!
Anne is fifteen months and is so curious about everything – she’s a pro at baby signs and recognized almost every object in the books she read – one smart little lady!
At first she wasn’t quite sure who I was or why I was there but with patience and smiles she eventually warmed up 🙂
Reading with Dad helped take her mind off my big black camera!
One of my favorites
She colored for a bit but then was fascinated by putting all the crayons back in the box….and then dumping them out and starting again 🙂 Developing those fine motor skills!
Despite a drizzly day we ventured outside onto their porch – Anne loved the swing and didn’t want to stop!
We managed to convince her to do a little dancing and lured some smiles 🙂 I love her two little teeth peeking through!
We then went out to the backyard which was beautiful and covered with leaves – Anne loved holding them and hearing the sounds when she scrunched them 🙂
Mom delighted her by playing peek a boo as she made her way up the stairs….eventually I joined Mom outside to see if I could sneak a picture through the slats 🙂
An outfit change out of wet clothes and she was back in action. The one on the right was my last shot and I love it!
It was such a pleasure to meet you all!
