Last week Blogger had a service interruption and deleted this post……oy!

Last month with the beginning of wedding season I didn’t read or watch nearly as much as I had in March.
But reading one book is better than no books!
I got about eight foodie themed biographies and memoirs for Christmas so this is the first one I picked up – A Homemade Life
This was a relatively light read interspersed at each chapter’s end with a relevant recipe. I haven’t tried any of those yet but I did enjoy reading the book – I’d rate it maybe a 5 out of 10.

On the movie side of things I couldn’t resist renting Mamma Mia for a second time – love the colors, energy, singing – everything. Can I go to Greece now?

As rom-coms go, Leap Year was about average – I think you could safely skip it 🙂

Toy Story 3 I enjoyed even though I felt it got pretty dark at times – so well done and love all the characters so it was fun to see them in action again.
I often post random links throughout the month on my Facebook Page (CLICK HERE to visit it and become a fan!).
Here are some highlights:
Awkward family photos i.e. why to hire a professional 🙂
Definitely adding this movie to my Netflix list – TappedWATCH THE TRAILER
30 Awesomely Bad School Portraits
The Gulf Oil Spill one year later – tragic.
How modern life is like a zombie onslaught 🙂
Some great pictures from the Royal Wedding (yes I did get up at 4:15 to watch it!!)
Enjoy!!
