Beth & Dan – December 12, 2015
Venue :: The Ponds at Bolton Valley
Florist :: Heidi Bormann
Dress :: Christine’s Bridal
Beth and Dan didn’t quite get the winter wedding they may have been picturing with temps rising almost to the 50s but it provided a great opportunity to be outside enjoying the beautiful scenery at The Ponds. Their wedding was a board game themed brunch wedding – pretty awesome when you aren’t so much the dancing type. Delicious food and fun times spent with family and friends.
Beth and her ladies (& James!) got ready in the suite at the Ponds
Beth & Dan wanted to see each other beforehand so we did a quick first look which was so sweet – they both had THE biggest smiles on their faces!
Beth’s Grandfather walked her down the aisle and you could tell how honored he was to do so
The Christmas tree provided a nice glowy backdrop for photos!
All of the weddings I’ve done at the Ponds previously have been outside so it was fun to shoot one in the beautiful soaring room
I LOVE how Beth designed the boutonnieres to feature scrabble tiles with the person’s first name letter – such a great tie in!
Let the games begin – so many great ideas!!
A few family members contributed games so there really was something for every person and every age!
Table names were games of course! Game pieces and chocolate kisses decorated the tables
They provided plain wooden ornaments and tons of Sharpies so guests could decorate ornaments for their tree – imagine how special decorating their tree will be for years to come!
They hand made the cake toppers
Beth smartly changed into bedroom slippers once the reception started – a girl after my heart!
A guest gave them these great hats
Game time! Apples to Apples was the choice for Beth and Dan – others played Candy Land, Scrabble, Can’t Stop (sounds fun – need to try it!)
Congratulations to both of you what a fun day!
