Brett and Amy lucked out – after a week straight of rain the ground was wet but the sun was shining – PERFECT! Since everything was happening at one location Brett & Amy didn’t stress out too much about seeing each other the morning of so people were milling about and grazing on the yummy food in the main house as the girls got their hair and makeup done. Eileen and I started in their room photographing some details.
Loved how they incorporated these town signs that are unique to Massachusetts – everyone needs another tote bag (I am starting QUITE the collection!!)

I loved the look of Amy’s petite and very sparkly Jimmy Choo’s set against the stone

I loved the toile backing to the escort card display set off by the pink ribbons

Amy was so happy and relaxed the whole morning but especially tickled to don her dress 🙂

Amy & Brett decided to do a first look so we got all the portraits out of the way with time to spare – always my favoriate way of doing it! I realized that 70% of my couples this year chose to do a first look- hooray!!

I loved this door (of course) and loved that Brett thought I was slightly funny 🙂

Amy was radiant

Add in some chickens for good measure (Brett tried unsuccessfully to pick one up!)

Crocus did an amazing job with the flowers – they were so unique and the colors meshed perfectly

Amy wore a locket on her bouquet with a photo of her honorary Grandmother who had passed away a few months before

The sweet flower girl 🙂

With the photos done the ladies headed inside for a champagne toast – and some peeking out the window to watch guests arriving 🙂

Love these – Amy’s Dad also had a smile on his face all day and couldn’t have been prouder – it was pretty cute 🙂

During the service they recognized Amy’s honorary Grandfather and spoke about the love he shared with his wife (a photo of her was pinned to Amy’s Bouquet within a Fleur-de-Lis locket)

I loved the contrast of the wood with the trees and sky – a beautiful site

There was a lot of laughter too during the ceremony

Let the party begin!

Because Brett & Amy chose to do a first look they went right to the party 🙂

The trees framed the site beautifully and ducks swam in the pond – it was pretty idyllic 🙂

Loved this quiet moment between Amy and her Dad

More colorful hydrangeas decorated the tables under the dinner tent

Their guest book from our New York engagement photos

A simple menu (had never seen them presented this way but loved it!) was also framed by the Fleur-de-lis

Right before guests headed over to dinner and as the sun was dipping we took a few minutes to step back from cocktail hour and do some more portraits of Brett & Amy

In a nod to Amy’s Mother’s family who is Scot-Irish a bagpiper led them across the road to the dinner tent

Amy’s Dad and Mom gave a very sweet and funny speech

Dinner is in full swing – I loved the trees decorating the tent poles

After being toasted and roasted by their Best Man and Maids of Honor, Brett and Amy rose to thank their guests

Then we all headed over to the barn for the party!

The flower girl got in on the fun for awhile before falling deeply asleep 🙂

And everyone boogied down – it was a great night!!

Congratulations and love to Brett & Amy!!
