As we met up at Shelburne Farms for their engagement photos the skies looked especially ominous. As we drove onto the farm we checked out the radar and sure enough a big blob of crazy orange and red was coming our way – yikes! In these cases it’s helpful to know every inch of the farm so you can take cover in the beautiful barns while you wait out the storms. Thankfully the weather didn’t faze Jenessa & Jeff one bit and we had some fun adventures before the weather cleared and the glory post rain light happened. You both were wonderful – enjoy the photos!
Catherine and John met at Basin Harbor Club as teenagers so it is very appropriate that they are back again and planning their wedding there this fall. We met on a beautiful summer day and explored the property which never disappoints. I even convinced them to have a creemee. You know…..just for the photos! It was so much fun hanging out with you both and I look forward to September!
I spent a fun drizzly morning with Ilana and Dickie at his parent’s beautiful home in Dorset, VT. Their spunky pooch joined in the fun and I’m looking forward to their wedding at Basin Harbor Club next fall – especially re-connecting with Ilana’s sister Laura and Brother-in-Law Pete whose wedding I photographed in 2012. Enjoy the photos!
I loved how comfortable this couple was with each other and the beautiful spots (and variety of animals!) we managed to work into the photos – congratulations on your engagement!
I met up with John and Heather on an unseasonably chilly morning at Shelburne Farms for some engagement photos. Heather was SUCH a trooper with the chilly temps and John did a good job snuggling to keep her warm! They are getting married next September at his parent’s house in Middlebury and it should be a blast. Their little guy was SO quiet and well behaved during the photos and just loved looking around and observing the world. It was great meeting you both!
