I had such a blast with Chris & Meghan and their families – we didn’t stop laughing the whole day 🙂 The weather was perfect and everyone was happy – exactly how a wedding should be 🙂
Eileen & I began the day with the ladies who were getting ready at Meghan’s childhood home. Makeup and hair were in full swing when we arrived and everything was really coming together.
Meghan was really relaxed and just couldn’t stop smiling 🙂
Her parent’s pooch keeps an eye on the ladies hanging out by the pool.
Can you guess where this picture was taken? My new favorite spot for shoes 🙂
The ceremony was in an open airy church – beautiful.
COME ON – have you ever seen a priest high five the couple before the ceremony starts??!!!
They both had great expressions during their vows.
BAM. The bridal party was straight out of J. Crew and I loved the contrast of everyone looking so smokin’ with the blue blue sky.
Of course we had a little fun as well 🙂
When we had our final phone call before the wedding Meghan mentioned that she had scoped out a place for portraits a few miles away from the yacht club. WOW. She brought me to this beautiful old building that had all these dramatic trees and at that time of day just the most AMAZING light. I was making a lot of happy noises 🙂
Although Meghan & Chris didn’t see each other before the ceremony they scheduled time in between the ceremony and cocktail hour to complete all the portraits. The results below show what happens when there is time to play and no one is feeling rushed. It was also helpful to be away from all the guests and everyone else so they could truly focus on each other and the emotion of the day.
Meghan was so excited about the location she had scouted and I was thrilled that she had taken the time to drive around near the venue and find this place…..it was pure magic.
Yeah. Come on. The light – AHHHHHH!
The temperature was just perfect for an outside cocktail hour so people enjoyed the beautiful views from the yacht club.
Meghan’s sister and maid of honor Courtney cracked everyone up the whole day – she is such a riot. Clearly her Grandfather shares her sense of humor 🙂
I loved the simple decor that Chris & Meghan chose. The blues really popped against the light colored walls and the flowers completed the theme.
Having some fun during introductions 🙂
Glowing with happiness 🙂
The yacht club has beautiful dramatic ceilings and a fun balcony that allows for a different angle.
Of course Courtney’s toast had us all in stitches 🙂
I love seeing people laugh 🙂
Hothouse really brought the house down and I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone planning a wedding.
Meghan & Chris were tearing up the dance floor all night!
Chris & Meghan – I had a BLAST……thank you!
