Last week I had the pleasure of hanging out in a chocolate store for the afternoon – it doesn’t get much better than that! My cousin Jen owns Daily Chocolate in Vergennes, Vermont which offers all sorts of delicious artisinal chocolates in fun and unusual flavors. I thought it was fitting to share these photos on Valentine’s Day – the perfect time to support your local chocolate shop! I can tell you from personal experience (one has to sample the goods while photographing!) that there is a distinct flavor and freshness difference in buying chocolate locally that was made mere hours before. Delicious and dangerous! Thanks to Jen for sharing her yummy treats with me and allowing me to snap some photos of life at Daily Chocolate.
Jen sells to a number of local Vermont stores
My other cousin Lila runs Ruby Lu – a business that offers handmade kitchen products. Jen sells some in her store – I have talented relatives!
Each box is hand wrapped and beautifully packaged
I have been dreaming of this ever since – reminds me of Willy Wonka!
Chocolate is so much better with a pinch of Fleur de Sel on it!
Ever wonder how they get ridges on the chocolate? With this fork and a flick of the wrist
Daily Chocolate is open Tuesday – Saturday – stop by for a visit!

Thanks again, Jen!
