Yesterday I shared the photos from Gard & Martha’s Rehearsal Dinner – now we move on to the main event 🙂 The weather was spectacular for their wedding and the day was a blast.

We started out at Martha’s parent’s home on Lake Winnipesaukee – their pup Henri greeted me but wasn’t so sure what to make of the big black camera 🙂
A few details….a sixpence that Gard’s Mom had worn in her shoe on her wedding day, fun sandals, and beautiful rings

Their invitation suite brought in nautical elements and carved trees

Martha gifted her bridesmaid’s monogrammed robes

Soon it was time for Martha to don her beautiful dress which she had worked with a designer to add embellishments to – the result was stunning

I loved the lace on the sleeves and the buttons down the back

After picking up the bouquets we headed outside

Happy 🙂

The flowers were gorgeous and really popped against the dresses

Then it was off to the church to see Gardner!

Martha looking at her Dad as he answered the question “who gives this woman in marriage”

Married!

A receiving line provided a great opportunity for candids

And then Henri got to greet his newly married parents 🙂

We headed over to the Bald Peak Club for some bridal party and family portraits

And eventually it was just Martha & Gard

After bustling Martha’s dress they joined cocktail hour (in this case an hour and a half) with time to spare

The details inside the club were rustic and unusual – I loved the moss that surrounded each centerpiece

Once everyone was seated Gard & Martha were announced by her Father

Who remarked when they got to their table that he hoped grandchildren would be coming in short order 🙂

Gardner’s Best Man Shore gave a very funny toast

After Gard’s toast to Martha we headed outside for a few more portraits

Then the party kicked off with the formal dances

“Smushing on a bed” was started by Gard’s Father’s group of friends…apparently at every wedding the bridal party finds a room and all gathers on a bed – they wanted to bring the tradition into the next generation!

After the smush (!) Martha changed in to an adorable little white dress for easier dancing 🙂

A dance off ensued which Martha won 🙂

And then it was time for a sparkler getaway to send them off to Fiji!

Congratulations 🙂
