Gwen and Pete had a fall themed wedding on a beautiful fall day – crisp blue skies, bright sun, and lots of fall colors.
Genna picked a great spot to do Gwen’s makeup – facing a big open window!
Pete was getting ready in the same hotel so I nipped upstairs to grab some shots of him getting dressed.
Love how elegant Gwen looks as she puts on her earrings.
The first look = best idea. Gwen & Pete did all of their photos before the ceremony so had plenty of time to relax and enjoy their guests after. Anyone who regularly reads this blog knows that I am a BIG proponent of this!!
Loved the fall colors (and fruit!) incorporated into the bouquets and boutonnieres.
Gwen graduated from Mt. Holyoke so we enjoyed walking around the beautiful campus
Love this one.
Happy parents greet guests as they arrive
Their friend Doug did their ceremony which was short and sweet 🙂
Her friend Manasee baked the cake and did a fabulous job. The table names were written on chalkboards and were all places significant to the Pioneer valley.
The Blue Heron was so intimate and private AND they knocked the food out of the park….delicious!
Gwen and Pete learned how to tango for their first song…..Por Una Cabeza (most well known from Scent of a Woman!)
September 19th was also International Talk like a pirate day so they brought along some appropriately themed props for later in the evening….VERY fun to photograph 🙂
Gwen & Pete – I wish you all the best!
