I hope everyone is having a good Easter! We are in Vermont and plan to do an egg hunt with Fia….much more fun to be around kids on a holiday!
Our Valentine’s/Winter’s decorations lasted until about a week ago when I finally decided to get my rear in gear and sew a new banner!
I found this adorable Egg easter fabric at Sew Inspired
so I was off and running 🙂
The felted eggs I made last year (can’t find the blogpost- maybe I forgot to blog them!) and they add a colorful touch to our mantle.
The egg holders, white eggs, rabbit, and chicks I got at Pottery Barn
– I usually prefer to hand make seasonal items but these were pretty cute and my mantle was looking very bare so I broke down 🙂
See – pretty cute right?!
If you look closely you’ll notice that I first sewed the letters in the light pink thread at the top of the frame. I hung it up and stepped back to admire my handiwork and ……..rut row. The pink letters completely got lost in the pattern so back to the machine I went to outline them in a marine blue – much better!
Happy Easter 🙂
PS – A little giggle for fans of Angry Birds (thankfully I’m not addicted yet) – Easter Peeps
version of Angry Birds!
