Thankfully on August 22nd the forecasters were wrong…..way wrong. They had predicted pouring rain all day but instead it just drizzled for about 5 minutes when we were driving between the hotel and the ceremony – sometimes I don’t know how they keep their jobs 🙂 Instead there was heat but I think most couples prefer heat to rain and Jeremy & Megan were no different.

A quiet moment as the day swirls around her!

Jeremy and Megan really took care in their details and it showed! They both love the ocean, fishing, and clamming so their wedding day style reflected those passions. The invitations had blue lettering and swimming fish, their program incorporated pictures from our engagement shoot at Duxbury beach, the tags on their wedding favors (chocolates!) noted “It was so sweet of you to join us”, and Jeremy’s Mom did a custom painting of the Inn at Longshore to adorn their menus.

Megan’s fabulous shoes were J. Crew. Her headpiece was so chic and casual and her necklace totally complimented her beautiful eyes!

Love Mom’s expression as she steps back to admire Megan!

Jeremy’s nephew decides he wants to be part of the action

The officiant was GREAT and really personalized the ceremony.

(I couldn’t control my laughing when I saw this….it was totally priceless)

Love Megan’s expression 🙂

Before heading to Fairfield beach we took some shots around campus

LOVE these 🙂

Elisabeth from Blush did SUCH an awesome job with all the flowers – Megan was thrilled and it made for beautiful photos! The groomsmen’s ties were green – Jeremy’s was blue!

The bridal party were good sports and hopped up on this wall to really get the feel of the water behind them.

Let the details begin!

The rocks used for table numbers were all from Duxbury beach, near where Jeremy’s parents live

Dale Lamberty blew everyone away with the two cakes she designed. Come on – flip flops??!! Love it 🙂

Megan surprised Jeremy with this groom’s cake that reflects his love of fishing!

Once again Elisabeth knocked it out of the park!

Megan & Jeremy collected each and every one of these clam shells, scrubbed them, and bleached them – they made quite a statement as guests walked into the reception.

Jeremy & Megan set aside time between their ceremony and reception so we were all done with photos by the time cocktail hour began!

Love the look he is giving Megan 🙂

This is a funny connection! Once Megan booked me we realized that we had a mutual friend in Natalie. Natalie was Megan’s roommate from Fairfield. Natalie’s best childhood friend is Jen who was my roommate at Bucknell 🙂 Small world 🙂

Love the expression and movement in this one!

Megan was a very efficient cake cutter – I love her expression in this one too 🙂

I’m not sure what the back story is on this but this guy was hilarious and elicited great reactions from the crowd!!

Mr. & Mrs. enjoy a quiet moment before the reception begins!

BIG congratulations to you both!
