I met up with Alice & Mike at their home in DC and we had a blast. We made an early start so that I could snap some pictures with Mike’s son Zach and he was a total ham and cracked us all up 🙂
Alice and I went to high school together and she’s been in two weddings I’ve photographed in the last two years….it was great to see her again and meet Mike and Zach who are wonderful.
I’ve a few days late but Zach showed me his Halloween costume which was a home made bottle of Merlot – LOVE 🙂
We walked Zach to school and then set off for the Bishop’s Garden at the Washington National Cathedral….it didn’t disappoint!
There were so many beautiful trees and textures that I was in heaven (and making weird happy noises to prove it!)
Thankfully Mike & Alice were just about the most natural two people you could ask for in front of the camera and they were in their own little world most of the time and ignoring me!!
Love the light in the top one (and the expressions. and the textures. and oh….everything!)
We found these beautiful stairs….yes please!
More beautiful morning light was found in this way cooler than a normal Gazebo gazebo
I think Mike enjoyed being a head taller than Alice 🙂
One last shot against a very cool wall
Mike & Alice (and Zach!) – you guys are a blast and I can’t wait for April!!
