This outdoor wedding was really special- I met Ori & Dave a few years ago at Heidi & Ave’s wedding and have enjoyed seeing them a few times since then. When they contacted me last year and told me about the Maine wedding they were planning I was psyched – it was right up my alley 🙂 They held the wedding at the beautiful John Peters Estate in Bluehill, Maine, close to where Ori grew up. The beautiful florals were by Sweet Pea Gardens and Ori’s stunning dress was by Lazaro with colorful Kate Spade wedges. Ori completed the look with her Mother’s veil – such a special touch. The bridesmaid’s all wore various styles of a dress by Wtoo. The dance floor was full all night thanks to the wonderful music created by Darlingside and Caitlin Canty – they were spectacular. Enjoy the photos!
Ori’s Brother created these two rustic signs that welcomed guests to the estate and gave a nod to the various places that Ori & Dave have lived
Ori was so relaxed and calm the whole day – my kind of bride!
Dave’s ring was so special – he nestled his Grandfather’s ring inside
It always takes a few helping hands to dress the bride!
Watching Dave walk down to the water for their first look
I LOVE IT when couples do a first look – Ori & Dave relaxed immediately in each other’s presence and the rest of the day just flowed
The field of yellow was too pretty not to take advantage of!
We joined the bridal party near the house – everyone looked quite dapper and beautiful!
A few rustic wedding details – when there is beer in a boat you know it’s going to be a good wedding 😉
And then the ceremony began!
What a spectacular spot for a wedding!
Love this one
Perhaps my favorite from the day which I shared as a sneak peek on the Orchard Cove Facebook page the night of the wedding
A painted chalkboard directed people to their seats
I loved their simple blue and white paper suite
Fun and funny toasts
Including one from Dave to Ori that had us all misting up!
First dance to David Gray’s “The One I Love”
And then Darlingside and Caitlin Canty rocked it out. A fun sidenote is that I went to high school with Don Mitchell – one of the band members. I’m psyched that they will be at my wedding this weekend too – fun times 🙂
We stepped outside for a few more portraits as the light was beginning to fade
And then it was time for more partying
Folding chairs + Horah is usually not a recipe for safety but Ori and Dave made it work – I LOVE this one 🙂
Congratulations and love to both of you!!
