Sarah & Erik – June 25, 2011
Ceremony & Reception Location – Elm Court
Sarah’s Brother hand made this beautiful box
Love this moment between Sarah and her Mom
Happy bride 🙂
Since Erik had been kicked out of their room he found a bathroom downstairs to get ready in which I happened upon while searching for Sarah’s Mom – a good find!
Sarah was laughing the whole day and just seemed to really enjoy herself
Sarah watches Erik head down to his spot for the first look
Love their expressions – and the expressions of the crowd watching from the balcony!
Happy and relaxed!
LOVE the portrait of Sarah.
Loved the pink and navy throughout
A bridal party of a few friends and lots of family including Erik’s nephews
With guests starting to arrive Sarah & Erik headed upstairs and I had time to photograph some of the beautiful details
The ballrooms are just gorgeous with intricate crown molding and impeccable detailing
As guests started to arrive the rain was coming down but Sarah & Erik were determined to get married outside. Lucky for them it stopped raining at the appointed hour and dutiful groomsmen rushed out to dry the seats with towels so the ceremony could begin!
Such a unique setting for a wedding with the Berkshires behind
This was the view from the porch ten minutes after the ceremony ended. They got VERY lucky!!
As guests were heading into dinner the rain stopped again so we headed outside for some more portraits
Hilarious toasts including a custom rendition of the Fresh Prince of Bel Air theme song with amended words – SO well done 🙂
The changing weather provided a beautiful sunset!
Sarah & Erik shared their first dance to Everything by Michael Buble
Love this one
As I left the wedding I found this scene on the porch 🙂 It was a fitting end to a great evening!
