Scott & Lynne’s Engagement Session

Earlier this week Carla Ten Eyck was kind enough to let me tag along on an engagement session with a wonderful couple. Carla takes amazing photos and I was psyched to see her in action and learn from her.

We were spoiled by Lynne & Scott – they were so psyched to have three shooters and were endlessly patient as we snapped away and asked them to turn this way and that. They were naturals in front of the camera and were quite successful at pretending we weren’t there 🙂

Mike Romano was the third shooter and he is just great to be around – he makes me laugh a lot!

Thank you so much Carla, Lynne, Scott, and Mike 🙂

The shoot was at Avon Old Farms School in Avon, CT. The architecture on campus is stunning – like something out of Harry Potter. Scott knew the school inside and out so was psyched to show us around and share his ideas for shots.

Sorry Mike – I couldn’t resist 😉

It’s also fun getting shots of people in action 🙂

The dining hall – looks like Hogwarts right?

Using found light.

You can’t really tell from the photos but it was rainy and miserable the whole time. By the end we all needed a little warming up so we ended the photo call at Starbucks – the employees there were quite curious as to what exactly was happening but thankfully were accommodating and let us shoot away.

The woman in the corner kept hiding behind her magazine 🙂

Spot the bling!

Thank you SO much Carla – when can we play again??!!
