Seven Springs Mansion Wedding :: Colin & Amanda

Stowe’s newest wedding venue Seven Springs Mansion provided the backdrop for Colin & Amanda’s recent wedding. This private home has gorgeous views of Camel’s Hump, a unique interior, and a perfectly framed summer sunset. Amanda, a talented designer, had created so many beautiful details to be sprinkled throughout the wedding – their family and friends helped make that happen. Susanna’s Catering did a beautiful job with the family style dinner and Nancy of NJoy Events coordinated. A bevy of family and friends created the stunning bouquets and flower arrangements throughout the property – very impressive! The Starline Rhythm Boys rocked out the reception and had everyone on the dance floor.

Amanda’s stunning dress was Elizabeth Fillmore (via JaeHee Bridal) and she designed and made her veil. The bridesmaids each bought their own dress and wore a variety of styles.

Enjoy the photos!

Amanda made these fun signs directing people to various events around the property

Of course Hayley was the third star of the show!

Amanda is a graphic designer who developed this logo for the wedding – it carried through a number of different DIY projects

A card from Colin brought some tears as did his book – the children’s classic “The Giving Tree”

Colin’s nephews were very dapper

Such a spectacular site for a wedding

You can see the lip of Camel’s hump from the mansion

A salt ceremony followed the vows

Bravo!

The bridal party looked so stylish and I loved the various hues of the ladies’ dresses

Amanda hand made these fabulous flowers from leftover construction materials from their renovation – very creative use of recycling!

Guests played corn hole during cocktail hour

A few details under the tent

Miniature elephants adorned the seating cards, pennant flags were strung up under the tent, tiny apples (their new last name!) were stamped onto the table and sprigs of lavender and rosemary were tucked in with the menus

A cocktail hour and a half gave Colin & Amanda plenty of time with their guests after taking photos

Amanda’s nephew was always on the move!

Waiting to be introduced into the tent

Amanda’s shoe came halfway off during the first dance but she soldiered on and looked as lovely as ever!

According to custom Amanda changed into a red dress for the reception – she was stunning

Beautiful summer sunset

Everyone hung out on the lawn to enjoy the last bit of light

Hayley was pooped by the end of the night and Colin finally plopped her bed next to the dance floor….she promptly fell asleep!

Congratulations Colin & Amanda!!
