Audra and Steve hit upon the peak of autumnal beauty in Vermont for their long planned wedding. I think these two might win the award for booked farthest in advance so it’s been a huge pleasure to get to know them over these past many months as their plans and details came together.
The ladies got ready in the Abbott Suite and just had a ball all morning 🙂

I stepped outside to photograph the rings on a cooperative pumpkin 🙂 The Paloma’s Nest bowl got it’s own shot 🙂

Audra’s dress was gorgeous – I loved the style and the beautiful lace. Her fun playful shoes completed the look 🙂

Audra was obviously thrilled that the day had come and couldn’t stop smiling 🙂

I joined Steve for a bit in the groom-ular suite where he was putting the finishing touches on his do!

Gotta update the Facebook status 🙂 🙂

The dapper Steve 🙂

And his dapper groomsmen 🙂

After scooting the boys off to the church Audra and her ladies ventured outside. The Round Barn includes so many beautiful spots for portraits – the landscape is just so Vermont!

Audra was stunning – her dress fit her like a glove and she sparkled all day.

The cameo brooch that adorned her bouquet belonged to her great grandmother and was from the 1800s….such history!

Nancy as always did an outstanding job with the flowers

We are in Vermont!

While taking pictures Audra got a little mud on her dress but not to worry – Anne Marie the resourceful innkeeper had it out in no time and Audra remained cool 🙂

Audra drove over to the ceremony in the most classic and beautiful car

I sat in front and enjoyed the views 🙂

The Church was so New England and perfectly quaint and adorable

Nancy was here!

The fall theme carried throughout and I loved the use of lentils to hold the candles (and later table numbers) in place

Another beautiful arrangement adorned the altar

Happy 🙂

I loved how Steve’s niece got a lift so she could see everything!

And then settled in to watch the ceremony

There were many lighthearted moments during the ceremony
Natural light streamed through the windows and the sun shone throughout the ceremony

A smooch to finish the ceremony

Yay!!!!

Back into the fun car 🙂

Checking out the new hardware!

A few portraits on the covered bridge in Waitsfield

Just a handsome guy holding a beautiful bouquet 🙂

A parting shot with the car before it departed

Onto the beautiful decor and details inside which Audra & Steve so carefully thought out and planned

I loved the lanterns and chair signs 🙂

The cart was adorned with pieces of wood cut to accommodate place cards and decorated with apples which guests were invited to take home at the end of the night….a perfect fall parting gift (to go along with the maple leaf shaped chocolate lollipop!)

A sign invited guests to sign the guest book which featured photos from our time in Newport

The arrangements from the ceremony were brought over to further decorate the barn

Remember Katie & Brian? It was so fun to see them again!

We did a few more portraits as people found their seats in the barn

The light was spectacular

And then it was time to dance!

Love this 🙂

VERY funny toasts 🙂

This guy was my competition throughout the night 😉

Milk jugs lit from within framed the windows after dark

I snuck outside at dusk for a few night shots

After dinner Audra & Steve danced with their parents

I loved the spontaneity of this and his Mom’s reaction 🙂

Then it was really time to party 🙂

Audra had a little fun with her Catholic school girl skirt which made a few appearances on the dance floor 🙂

I never tire of the worm…this guy was pretty good!

“If you like it then you should’ve put a ring on it!” Oh wait – she did 🙂

These little girls were a hit on the dance floor 🙂

Love this one 🙂

I hope you both had a phenomenal and relaxing trip – you deserve it!!

xxoo
