Last week Jeff and I headed up to Vermont to spend Thanksgiving with my Mom and various other family members. Of course time with Heidi, Ave, and Fia figured heavily into our visit and since Fia is three months old today I thought it timely to give an update!
The day before Thanksgiving we drove to town for lunch – Fia and I sat in the backseat together 🙂
Two of my favorites- with Mom at lunch
Fia (like her Father) loves to look at herself in the mirror 😉
We did Thanksgiving a bit differently this year but I LOVED it. Our cousins Katie & Marshall were out of town and kindly loaned us out their house so we all converged and spent all day cooking. It was a pot luck so the work was split up but we still got to enjoy each other.
Heidi’s Husband Ave was the grand organizer and assigned everyone tasks.
Heidi’s tasks were feeding and general childcare…but we all gave her help 🙂
Pretty typical – Heidi holding the baby and Ave eating 😉
Grandpa Alec tries to get Fia to sleep
Happy once again!
I can blow lots of bubbles!
“Uncle” Jeff and Fia 🙂
Checking the 22 lb turkey
Breastmilk and Guiness – what more do you need?
As we got closer to dinner Fia got more and more sleepy but she didn’t want to miss out on the action.
Clearly she is the apple of all 3 of her Grandfather’s eyes!
Rocking the little one to sleep!
The next day after a good night’s sleep she was back!
She loves her swing.
I love those cheeks 🙂 She’s packing on the oz’s 🙂
Love these two – especially the top one with their cat Kenya passing by!
She sometimes gets fixated on her fists and her eyes go a bit crossed 🙂
Love these two.
Time for bed!
