Strider and his big ball are ready for an adventure.
I’m heading out this morning to a remote part of the Adirondacks where there is certainly no Internet and definitely no cell phone service. Unplugged = relaxed! We’re meeting my cousins Will & Sarah there and of course their two doggies Grit and Cole.
On Saturday morning we head to Vermont where I’ll shoot my cousin Heidi’s rehearsal dinner. Sunday morning we run by a B&B that we are thinking of putting people up at for our wedding next summer, and Sunday afternoon at 4:30 Heidi and Ave will be married at Shelburne Farms. Ave surprised Heidi with an engagement last summer after dating for seven years. They spent a weekend in Lake George and he proposed on Sunday afternoon – bringing Heidi back across the lake to dinner at their favorite restaurant with both their families. I’ve heard a lot about this wedding during the planning so I’m so thrilled to see it all come together. We love them both and have a blast hanging out with them whenever we’re in Vermont.
It’s going to be a lot of driving but it should be an awesome weekend. The amazing Daria Bishop is Heidi’s wedding photographer and is also shooting our wedding next summer so I’m psyched to see her in action and eventually see the results.
Have a great couple of days – I’ll try to blog from my favorite Internet friendly spot in Shelburne – Village Wine and Coffee.
