My season kicked off (as it did last year) with a destination wedding in Florida…..not a bad way to get things going π

The natural light provided the perfect setting for candids π

Zach and Talley getting ready to get things underway – I loved Zach’s expression π

Can you imagine a more amazing site for a ceremony? Under the Banyan trees!

Zach’s Brothers provided a lot of comic relief during the weekend.

After the rehearsal we everyone gathered for a quick and informal group shot before walking to the restaurant.

“The Temp” was a perfect location for the rehearsal dinner – intimate and very Florida π

There were MANY heartfelt and beautiful toasts given…..and of course some funny ones too π

Talley had interned at Travel & Leisure so her Uncle designed a special cover to commemorate the wedding weekend π

Each of Talley’s college friends shared a gift with the couple relating to their history

Zach gave THE most wonderful toast that had us all reaching for the Kleenex π

Two of Talley’s bridesmaids did a fun spin off of the Newlywed game with Talley & Zach being asked questions such as: “Who made the first move?” and “Who takes longer to get ready?” The appropriate shoe was raised by Talley & Zach depending on their answers – it was wonderful

Zach’s Brothers singing the “Happy Song” (hope I got that right) which is a long standing family tradition π

Meanwhile at the beach club……..my wonderful friend and second shooter Eileen was covering the welcome party for the rest of the guests

The wonderful florist Julio created simple arrangements to accent the tablecloths and a fun signature cocktail tied into the scheme

A boat provided a back up to the bar π

This was a great idea – every guest wore a nametag and under their name wrote in their connection to Talley & Zach – such a great way to put everyone in context!

As the sun set and the party at The Temp finished up we walked over to join the beach party!

Glow sticks were passed around and donned by almost everyone π

After that the band kicked off and people danced into the night – what a perfect way to kick off the weekend!
