Last week when I was in Vermont I went over and met 3 month old Alexander and his family. His Mom Elizabeth received the portrait shoot as a baby gift and she couldn’t have been happier about it! Children grow out of clothes but photographs last forever 🙂 Joking aside it is a really nice and meaningful gift to get a new family and one that they wouldn’t necessarily think to get themselves with all the other preparations.
Alexander was snoozing when I arrived on a very rainy day so after talking through some of the activities we wanted to photograph we went upstairs to check on him.
He sleeps swaddled and looked SO snuggly!
After a few minutes of shooting he finally peeked open his eyes. I just love his expression as he checked me and my big black camera out. After I took this picture I looked at him and he just gave me the biggest smile….totally melted my heart 🙂
About to be free of the swaddle!
I loved the cute letters above his changing pad
He loves his Mama!
COME ON. How could we not take a picture with the big Moo…..he does live in Vermont after all 🙂
Dad came home from work for our shoot and played a little guitar.
Alexander loves listening to him play.
A little smirk for Dad 🙂
When Alexander is upset he loves lying on his back on his changing pad and just chilling out. He also loves being held one handed by Dad…a special trick you’ll have to watch the slideshow to see 🙂
Life is not all peaches and cream….but it’s pretty close 🙂
Alexander also likes looking at the stripes on the wall and letters above his head 🙂
I love Elizabeth’s expression of adoration as she nurses Alexander.
It was so fun meeting you! Hope to see you again!
