Laura & Stephen’s wedding at Basin Harbor Club was such a beautiful marking of their love. Surrounded by friends and family and also celebrating Laura’s Parents 60th wedding anniversary that same weekend it was a deeply meaningful and moving day. Colorful and natural flowers were provided by Hollyhocks Florist in Vergennes and hair & makeup was done by Shear Cuts. Enjoy the photos!
These twins – the sweetest!
Laura & her Dad canoed across the cove to meet up with Stephen and the rest of the wedding party
As guests were getting settled in their seats we did a few group photos in front of the homestead one of my favorite backdrops at BHC
Their rings were passed around for people to hold and bless during the ceremony
Laura & Stephen addressed each of their kids in their remarks
When it came time to put on the rings Laura’s Dad helped out with his Swiss Army knife to cut the ribbon – a very memorable moment!
The ribbons remained on the rings for the rest of the evening!
I’d never seen a seating chart like this and loved the floral illustrations they used to mark the table numbers
The north dock – can’t get much more beautiful for a setting!
The toasts by each of their kids were touching and at times very funny
Cake cutting with an axe??!! Perfect!
Marshmallows were roasted by the firepit as the day turned to night
Laura & Stephen – congratulations what a spectacular and joy filled day!
