This year we decided to celebrate our first Christmas in Vermont by staying home and having people come to us – it was perfection! My Brother Jon came into town a few days before Christmas and stayed with us over the weekend and then my Mom came over on Christmas Eve to spend the night. We had a yummy roast chicken on Christmas Eve and then THIS rack of lamb recipe (courtesy of my Mom) on Christmas Day – good eating and drinking!! Enjoy the photos.
Uncle Jon hangs out with his favorite nephew doggie
Jeff got this great t-shirt from my Mom. He also got one that said “the lake is calling and I must go” – we do love our time at the lake!
The doggies had presents too and it was fun getting them overly excited to open them!
Uncle Jon in the kitchen making his special salad – arugula, parmesan, prosciutto with a tangy lemon pepper dressing!
The Christmas day lunch spread – YUM.
Later that afternoon we brought my Mom home and Jeff and I took a breezy walk down to the beach (fuzzy photos courtesy of I-Phone!)
Love winter glory light and notice the moon rising above the barn
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!!
