Sorry I’ve been off the radar for the last little while – I’ve been squeezing every last bit out of our time on vacation and I’m still in Vermont….until tomorrow 🙂
We spent Christmas with my Dad this year down in Pennsylvania. Our cousins were visiting from Australia so we wouldn’t have missed it for the world. Jeff and I last saw them in 2004 when we traveled down there (our first big trip together!). Needless to say the kids have grown up quite a bit and it was fun to catch up.
Yes I can’t get enough of doggies snuggling and sleeping pictures. Sorry!
My Brother Jon and cousin Lachlan
Trying to decide where to leave the carrots out for Santa. We also used orange cones to show Santa where to land his sleigh…magical!
The kids were very patient on Christmas morning and waited until late morning after we had all eaten.
Strider was very happy to have some help opening his gifts 🙂
We got Sage as an early Christmas gift but decided she still needed a bow 🙂
After opening presents we visited Longwood Gardens to see the Christmas lights. Snowball fights ensued 🙂
Pretty bright berries in the conservatory and a photographer’s reflection!
Walking around and trying not to cause too much trouble 🙂
One shot of the beautiful lights
Strider supervising Christmas dinner 🙂
My hubby 🙂
Love that this shot shows it all happening!
More snuggling the next morning
Out exploring the garden.
When we got down to PA there was a foot of snow on the ground and Sage was disappearing into the drifts. By the time we left it had all but melted!
Learning to play nicely 🙂
An attempt at some portraits…Sage wasn’t so sure 🙂
Take a break for snoogling
More portraits before her longest walk yet!
Lachlan being goofy
Jeff & Lach are the “lastys” bringing up the rear on our walk
The Laurels is such a beautiful place to walk!
Trying to get 10 people + 2 dogs to do much of anything is like herding cats – this photo illustrates how everyone does their own thing 🙂
My Popsicle 🙂
Jeff, Georgie, and Sage head up the hill
The Findlay family acquired a dog 🙂
This makes my heart happy 🙂
Some fun no look pictures on the way back from our walk…Sage was pooped
On our last night we had an enormous turkey for dinner. Strider felt it was imperative that he supervise Jeff carving it 😉
Next up…..New Year’s at the lake!
