It’s fun to look back on these “after” pictures of our mulch two months ago – now you can barely see it since everyone has grown up and leafed out….this Sunday my garden and I have a weeding date! Regardless I am SO happy we mulched as it has significantly cut down on the number of weeds we’ve had this year – well worth the extra effort up front. And for at least a week it looked so totally pristine! I harvested our first cherry tomatoes a few days ago and also some peapods so things are coming along. My Dad just left and helped bail me out of weed city in our raised beds so they are looking much more respectable and I’m sure will now be much more productive. Happy gardening!!
