Winter is always a quiet time of year shooting wise for me which gives me the brain space to read and do a lot of crafting. It’s funny that the weather has to get cold before I am in the mood to craft – it’s like a light switch that gets turned on! This year I think I have about eight pregnant friends so I figured I’d better get busy so I have presents to give once their showers roll around.
Sweet and simple knitted baby hats
DIY Burp Clothes with Jeff’s old Brooks Brother’s shirts!!!
Easy to make and a great use of a shirt that I would otherwise throw away
More burp clothes with fun patterns from my stash
I find the colors in quilting so inspiring during the monotone winter months!
A sampling of onesies – the bottom photo was shipped off to Texas for little baby Disney (hence the Mickey Mouse ears and mouse fabric!) who is due any day now!
I needed a place to stash my gifts and also to start stashing things for our little one (no announcements yet thank you very much!)
Fia’s memory game (love these so much that I have a bunch more sets cut out and in progress)
Sage loves to help me photograph my projects
I FINALLY finished my Purl Bee Herrinbone Cowl which I started in the fall of 2011. It’s not perfect but at least it’s done! It’s a nice snuggly addition to outfits in these cold winter months
