Jon & Ali’s Stowe Mountain Wedding

Getting Ready – Topnotch Resort and Spa

Ali’s Jimmy Choo’s were FABULOUS 🙂

We went downstairs to photograph Jon getting dressed (he was heading over to the first look site ahead of us so their paths didn’t cross)

Then it was time to get Ali dressed

And tucked into my car (with a sheet!!) for the ride up the mountain

We took golfcarts and wound our way up and up – the views just kept getting better. Jon was waiting at the top and had the best reaction to seeing Ali for the first time 🙂

The light was simply amazing – beams of sunlight through the clouds – definitely “glory light!”

We had over an hour for the first look and some bridal party portraits so really got to to take our time and have fun

Nancy as always did a stunning job with the flowers

We drove to a second site with similarly spectacular views and really cut loose. Jon and Ali are self described goofballs who suggested some jumping shots….I was pretty impressed with the height they got 🙂

The bridal party also embraced the idea 🙂

Then it was up to the top of the mountain on the gondola and time for the ceremony to get underway!

Then it was time to head down the mountain ahead of the guests so we could photograph the details

A sparkler reception welcomed Jon & Ali to the bottom of the mountain!
