We spent a chilly New Year’s at the lake with friends. The snow made it picture perfect although I think by the end of the weekend our tally of cars pushed out of the snow was four! In weather like that I appreciate my Volvo wagon – I never have to worry about getting stuck as it just powers through anything.
Strider playing viciously with his friend Luke – they are like peas and carrots π

A beautiful and picturesque snowy morning

We bundled up and walked out on the frozen lake even though the wind was blowing what felt like Arctic breezes

Sometimes the ice was slippery π (and sometimes people were pushed!)

That night we had 10 for dinner + 2 little ones. How cute is she? M wasn’t quite ready to commit to her PJs so she kept her kilt on.

But then it got too hot by the fire so she donned a make believe hat and hung out in her diaper.

Her little sister kept taking power naps during the night – they both lasted until midnight because of all the excitement and then totally crashed right after the ball dropped.

Thank heaven for little girls π

Pictures coming tomorrow….
wow, Strider looks vicious like a wolf!
that plunge looks painful
Love the shot of the little girl in front of the stove, it looks timeless!
Look at that —it’s like “When Dogs Attack”!
