I’ve mentioned before that I’m a regular reader of the great blog “The Naptime Chef.” Kelsey is a friend of a friend who is becoming quite a well known blogger and I just love her recipes – simple but so so tasty.
Last week Jeff and I tried her recipe for Orecchiette, Sausage, and Goat Cheese Salad which she adapted from Giada de Laurentiis. We used turkey sausage and it was super yum.
Thanks so much, this is so sweet of you. I am thrilled you like the salad, it is one of my favs! In lieu of pasta someone could make it more of a salad and add sliced blanched asparagus. The goat cheese and sausage would pair nicely with that flavor.
Hmmmm…..a substitute for pasta. My only idea so far is to make it truly as a salad – add more arugula but then should you wilt it or not….hmmmm…..you have me stumped! Could you put these together on a pizza? Or is it wheat that's the problem?
Yum! I need to make this sans pasta. Any ideas on what I can substitute? Goat cheese is my FAV!
We need to get together sometime to do some serious cookin!
