Sarah & Erik scoped out THE most picturesque spot for their engagement photos – Naumkeag -an old “cottage” that has beautiful views and amazing grounds. We had originally thought about going to some other places as well but there were so many great areas for shooting we didn’t need to!
Sarah & Erik are getting married next June at the magnificently restored Elm Court – an old Vanderbilt and Sloan estate. We visited there after finishing up at Naumkeag and it too offers spectacular opportunities inside and out for portraits – I can’t wait!
Sarah & Erik – it was so much fun meeting you both and I hope you had a fabulous time at the fall festival!
I loved the textures and layers in this garden
A little fun 🙂
Love the height of the trees above them
See what I mean about all the fabulous spots? We just kept turning corners and finding more!
You’d like a photo in front of a temple you say? Naumkeag has one!
This was a neat entryway 🙂
Not to mention the views over the hills were gorgeous. It was late September and 80 degrees!!
My two favorites I think 🙂
A very unusual fountain that used gravity to fill each of the pools
And a parting shot in front of the door to the secret garden!
Sarah – you win the award for best location scouter 🙂 I’m so glad it worked out with our schedules!!
