Last Friday night was the second annual Shelburne Farms Spring Soiree – a fabulous 1920s themed fundraiser for the farm. Last year was fun and this year was even better – the weather was spectacular and the turnout was great. The Vermont Automobile Enthusiasts once again brought their fabulous cars and parked them outside the Inn which provided the perfect backdrop for photos as people arrived. People really go all out with their clothes which makes it fun – we all joked that it’s Old Gold’s favorite event of the year because everyone goes there to buy outfits!
Recognize James & Katie? Katie is pregnant and due in August!!
It was 75 degrees out so people spilled onto the lawn to enjoy the view and play croquet!
This year Jeff came! I took a few breaks from photographing the event but luckily there were a lot of familiar faces there so he could still have fun when I was working
The live auction is always one of the highlights of the evening
A few of the fabulous ladies of The Junior League of Champlain Valley!
Kira and Julie (two of the organizers) kick back near the end of the evening and celebrate!
This sweet couple won this beautiful flower arrangement in the silent auction
Even the President and VP of the Farm took a turn in the photo booth!
Can’t wait for next year!
