Hello!
I hope everyone had a great weekend – the weather was PERFECT yesterday for Pete & Laura’s wedding and to boot it was a blast – check out a sneak peek shot on the Orchard Cove Facebook page (Click Like to see sneak peeks of all my weddings!)
I wanted to share a recipe of something that is always in our fridge – our go-to balsamic vinaigrette recipe. My Dad’s wife Annie is a phenomenal cook and shared this one with us a few years ago – I think she may have gotten it from Williams-Sonoma. During the summer we have salads most nights (and lunches for me too!) with various ingredients added in so this gets a lot of use. I’ve tripled the recipe below so we don’t have to make it every day 🙂
Annie’s Balsamic
3/4 C. balsamic vinegar
3 T. dijon mustard
To Taste Garlic (I usually use jarred and put in ~1 T.)
1/3 c. Olive oil
3/4 c. veggie oil
3 T. basil
To taste S&P
Combine in a bottle and shake until stirred 😉
Have a great week!!
