Sundance!

January 19, 2009

We’ve had a great few days in Park City, Utah enjoying the beautiful weather and interesting movies at the Sundance Film Festival. I head home tomorrow on a painful 7:05 A.M. flight (the shuttle will pick me up at 4:45 A.M…..yay.) but it will be great to get home to my boys!

On Friday Jon & Sep were on a panel. I’ve never seen Jon speak so I was a proud sister…they both did a great job πŸ™‚

Love this one of the collaborators πŸ™‚

Their project We Feel Fine

The crew πŸ™‚

After lunch Jon and I took a walk around Park City to see who we could see. We didn’t see too many celebrities – some guy from the Bachelorette but it was still fun to people watch.

CLEARLY I need boots like these πŸ™‚

There were two ADORABLE Saint Bernards hanging out waiting for people to pet them πŸ™‚

Oh wait – we saw one more celebrity – Jill Hennessy from Crossing Jordan. I was more amused to see the Papparazzi trying to get their shot. I hadn’t brought my zoom lens thinking I’d be out of place or it would be confiscated but so many people had their cameras with them!

We saw some great movies – Mary & Max, Thriller in Manila, Prom Night in Mississippi, and Toe to Toe. The best part of Sundance are the Q&A sessions after the movies – very interesting insights.

Jon and I were dropped off at the bottom of the hill where we were staying on Friday and had a lovely walk up the hill at sunset – just stunning views and light on the mountains

My Brother Bear πŸ™‚

We also got in a day of skiing (Jon and Sep were off being important) which was fabulous. It’s so different skiing out west – much higher mountains (a bit scary!) and longer trails, higher lifts (also scary) and many more options – it was great.

Have a good week!

Wow. You must be having the time of your life. I must say–I am a little disappointed you didn’t snag me some shots of some super-hot Hollywood types. Oh, well. Maybe next year! (Keep your fingers crossed.) Hope you are enjoying yourself. I think you may be home now…See you soon!
