It has been a pleasure getting to know Dillon & Scott over the past few months and lovely to see them make it official….on Pride weekend no less! They met over their shared love of dance, music and creativity in college and wrote “friends who dance together stay together” – I love that. Surrounded by their families on a clear but chilly fall day at Shelburne Farms, they were married by Dillon’s Aunt in a personal and very sweet ceremony. This wedding was also special for me because it was the first time I had photographed at High Acres – my childhood home which is now available for weekly rentals. It was great to see people enjoying the house and the land and was a nice full circle. Enjoy the collection of photos!
A little Mother/son dance practice
The whole crew minus Scott who was getting ready over at The Inn
Yummy & beautiful food by Let’s Pretend
We climbed trees and scampered down a bank to get onto the beach but these are some of my favorite images from the day – just the two of them being together (with a quiet observer of course to document!)
Alison did a gorgeous job with the florals as always
When two dancers get married there is….a lot of awesome dancing. Scott & Dillon kicked it off before dinner with a well choreographed first dance that brought everyone to their feet
The Vermont crew!
Proud big sisters
The cake to end all cakes!
Time to groove!
Let the (after!) party begin – congratulations to both of you!
