A few weeks ago I snuck down to Pennsylvania for a few days to visit my Dad and Annie. The gardens were even better than my April visit and the pool was open (Sage and Strider took advantage….I didn’t!) Spring and summer are my favorite times to be down there but due to scheduling it doesn’t always happen – I’m glad we could make it work!
Spot with eagle eyes why Sage is licking her lips (she loves my Dad’s garden because he puts tasty natural stuff on his plants to make it grow. These tasty things don’t always agree with her stomach!)
We hung out with my Popsicle while he took out the tulip bulbs to store them for the winter
The king and queen on their thrones 🙂
Cute mini puppy 🙂
The first time Sage almost fell into the pool but Strider helped show her the scoop!
Can we go in now?
Oh! It’s water. Like the lake – neat.
Time for some running around and romping!
The peonies (my favorite) were magnificent
Turn back the clock to our Christmas visit!
For the rest of our visit whenever Sage couldn’t be located it was likely she was helping herself to a dip in the pool 🙂
Play with me!
This is how Sage dries off….she rolls and snuggles with the grass…very cute 🙂
Strider hangs out and Sage hangs on the edge of trouble (she’s not allowed in the garden!)
Stalking Strider 🙂
There is no better way to end the day than sitting out on the patio with a glass of wine and admiring the beautiful garden.
