I thought it was fitting to end my series of best of 2010 photos with a posting about my favorite pet photos of the year.
Dogs are such an important part of my couple’s lives and one of the many reasons why I love photographing outdoor and at-home weddings is that they aren’t left out!
Bondi hung out with Emily and her friends while they were all getting ready.
I LOVE his expression which to me says: “oh Brother – WHAT is happening?”

After the ceremony he had fully relaxed into his role of best dog and was looking especially regal here π

Avery’s parent’s dogs kept a close eye on the preparations for the wedding π

Higgins could barely keep his eyes open with all the action swirling around him!

Bodie, in contrast, guarded the door to make sure no one got a sneak peek at the bride before the ceremony π

With his job completed he decided he could take a break and lie down for awhile π

But soon it was back to supervising and making sure things didn’t get too out of hand on the dance floor! Becca & Mike can really rock out!

Charlito saves his energy for later in the day

It’s considered good form to send your Mom flowers on her wedding day π

But no peeking at Mom when she’s getting her dress on – better to wait outside!

It’s always good to lighten the mood at the ceremony by slipping out of your collar at the top of the aisle π

But be sure and be quiet once the ceremony begins – you don’t want to distract from your Mom and Dad!
